Affiliate Program Terms

These terms set out the conditions of the program in which partners introduce myupuri and receive rewards (the “Program”). Anyone taking part in the Program (a “Partner”) must agree to these terms before joining.

1. Joining

• The Program is approval-based. People who want to introduce myupuri, such as creators, apply, and only those we approve can take part.
• We will tell you how to apply (use the contact form).
• We may not give reasons for approving or declining an application.
• If you are under 18, get the consent of a parent or guardian before applying.
• You may not transfer your position as a Partner to anyone else.

2. Rewards

• Reward amounts, qualifying results, how rewards are calculated, and payment terms (cut-off and payment dates, minimum payout, handling of fees and so on) follow the conditions we present when we approve you, or a separate agreement.
• Refunded purchases, results suspected to be fraudulent, and results obtained in breach of these terms do not earn rewards.
• Before paying, we may ask for identity documents, tax information, qualified invoices or other documents. We may withhold payment until they are provided.
• You are responsible for declaring tax on your rewards (where the law requires tax to be withheld, we will withhold it).

3. Tracking

Results are tracked through the referral links, codes or other means we provide. Depending on network conditions, device settings and other factors, some results may not be recorded, and we do not guarantee that every result will be.

4. Disclosing that it is an ad

We treat introductions made through the Program as our advertising. To comply with the stealth marketing rules under Japan’s Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations, please disclose it as follows.

• Use clear words such as “Ad”, “PR” or “Promotion”, where viewers will notice them, such as at the start of a post or within a video.
• Do not make the disclosure hard to see, for example by burying it among many hashtags.
• Do not hide your relationship with us, or present your post as an ordinary user’s opinion.

5. Prohibited conduct

Partners must not:

• say anything untrue or misleading about the Service, including its features, prices or minimum age (13 and over);
• promote by spam, such as unsolicited email or messages, or indiscriminate posting;
• earn rewards from their own sign-ups or purchases (self-referral);
• inflate results with fake accounts or accounts in someone else’s name;
• sell invite codes or hand them out to the public (see the Acceptable Use Policy);
• bid on our name or trademarks, such as “myupuri”, as search advertising keywords, unless we have given permission;
• impersonate us or our official accounts, or pretend to be endorsed by us;
• promote in ways that break the law or public order, or infringe the rights of others.

6. What we do about violations

• If there is a violation, or there may be one, we may cancel rewards, withhold payment, disable referral links or codes, revoke approval or take other action, without notice.
• If a violation causes us damage, we may claim compensation.

7. Changing or ending the Program

• We may change the Program or its reward conditions, or end the Program.
• We are not liable for losses this causes Partners (including rewards they expected to earn), except where we acted intentionally or with gross negligence.

8. Other terms

• Partners are not our employees or agents, and may not make promises or enter into contracts on our behalf.
• Do not disclose to others any non-public information about us that you learn through the Program.
• These terms are governed by the law of Japan. The court with jurisdiction over our head office has exclusive jurisdiction of first instance over any dispute about the Program.

This English text is a reference translation. The legally binding version is the Japanese one; if the two differ, the Japanese version prevails.
