Deleting your account

You can delete your myupuri account from inside the app at any time.

Steps

• Open the app and tap “Me” at the bottom.
• Under “Account”, tap “Delete account”.
• Confirm, and the account is deleted right away.

What happens

If there are photos or videos you want to keep, save them to your photo library before deleting your account.

• You can no longer sign in.
• All photos and videos stored on our servers are deleted. They cannot be restored.
• Your nickname, icon, date of birth, email address and sign-in identifiers are erased.
• Invite records (who invited you) cannot be restored.
• If you signed in with Apple, the Apple token is revoked as well.
• Photos and videos already saved on your device stay there. Delete them from your device if you want them gone.
• Copies saved on the devices or in the accounts of the people you shot with are not deleted.

Deleting the app only

Removing the app does not delete your account or the photos and videos stored on our servers. Please follow the steps above.

If you cannot open the app

If you lost your phone or cannot open the app, send a request through the contact form, choosing “Deleting your account” as the topic, with your nickname and how you sign in (Apple, Google, LINE or email). We delete the account once we can confirm it is yours.
